How does this work?

  1. You register for one, two, three or four days.
  2. We notify you when the games are available on our website.
  3. You pick the games you'd like to play in each slot.
  4. We assign your games based on your picks.
  5. We email you your games, and your GMs lists of their players.

Everyone is welcome at Ambercon, but if you are under 18 years of age, and you will not be accompanied to your games by your parent or legal guardian, we need them to sign some important legal documents.

If you are a Game Master, please consider running one or more games at Ambercon.

Registration

The one-day and two-day registration allows you to play in games on the day (or days) you pick. The three-day registration allows you to play in games Friday evening through Sunday. The four-day registration allows you to play in games Thursday evening through Sunday. The four-day registrations also come with $20 worth of food certificates which can be spent at the hotel restaurant/room service, while the three-day registrations come with $15 worth. There are no food certificates with the one-day or two-day registration.

Game Selection

After you've registered, we'll notify you when the games for the Con are available on our website, and you get to pick those you'd most like to play in each slot. You do not have to pay a per game fee - your registration lets you play in as many slots as you'd like on the day or days covered by your registration type. Once the game book is available, we ask you to send us your list of possible games (we advise picking more than one in each slot, in case your first choice is full). For more info on the game selection system, see the game scheduling web page.

Game Scheduling

After the game selection deadline is past, we will assign your games. Once we have everyone scheduled, we send you the list of your games, and we send the GMs the lists of their players, so any prep for the game can be done before the con, giving everyone more playing time.

Underage Attendees

Everyone is welcome at Ambercon, but if you are under 18 years of age, and you will not be accompanied to your games by your parent, we need them to sign some important legal documents. Have your parent or legal guardian e-mail the Con Chair at conchair@ambercon.com. Thanks.

Game Masters

We need games, we always need more games. If you are a Game Master, please consider running one or more games at Ambercon. The players at Ambercon are, generally speaking, experienced diceless role players who are looking to have fun with others in games.  They, and we, are always looking for new games, new game masters, new ideas, new approaches.  So, if you GM, give it a try, run a game.  Please submit a game via our online game submission form.

Looks good, but I'm not

Looks good, but I'm not finding the information about where AmberCon US is being held. I know, but newcomers to the site won't. Also the address, phone and website for Embassey Suites would be helpful.

And I miss being able to access the past cons section, so hopefully that will be up.

The hotel information page is up: I needed to confirm prices.  I haven't put up previous years' game books, but, for those GMs that want it, I do have last year's game book as a PDF.
