Elevator Pitch: In 1999, an alien Jedi master arrived on Earth and began training Padawans. Now, the students are ready to go out and change the world.

The game will use a diceless system featuring paths, virtues and temptations.

This is set on Earth. There are no droids, spaceships, hyperdrive engines, blasters or light sabers, and just the one alien.

PCs are humans aged 16-24 who have studied the mysterious Way with the Jedi master since 1999.

What do players need to do to prepare for the game
Run around the room pretending to move things with their minds, conduct imaginary duels. Backflips cautiously suggested for those with the appropriate spots. GM will contact players ahead of the con with system information and character generation rules.

A gossamer world is threatened by dark forces. Its own forces overwhelmed, it has contracted the Raven Legion for aid. Now, General Malachi has dispatched an elite team of Legionnaires to the world to assess the situation and fulfill the contract.

Now, the Raven Legionnaires must face terrifying foes and get the job done. Or die trying.

Characters are members of the Raven Legion. More than just thugs or soldiers for hire, they are a team of dashing mercenaries. The Conciliatore are those honored to defend the Ascendancy. Handpicked by Lord Bastiano, they are his greatest warriors. They will keep the Ascendancy strong, no matter the cost.

Now, a world with ties to the Ascendancy is threatened by dark forces. lord Bastiano has dispatched a team of his Conciliatore to deal with the threat and serve the interests of the Ascendancy.

Existing characters will receive some review and revision. If there is space for any new characters to begin, there will be SUBSTANTIAL preparation required, possibly including Skype roleplay. DO NOT sign up for this game as a new player if you cannot commit to this preparation.

The year is 1598 AD, Emperor Maximillian II of Austria is dying, after recovering from his near-death illness in 1576. The tolerant and moderate Holy Roman Empire is soon to be giving up his elected and inherited thrones. While the eldest son, the Archduke Rudolf is expected to succeed him, there are powerful forces inside the Imperial Family who have other ideas. There are powerful pressures from three rival churches, uncle Phillip II of Spain as well as the old enemies of the Ottoman Empire and France.

This is an alternative Amber based on a period of history where the Age of Exploration and the Renaissance overlapped, yet an alternative world where sorcery is more powerful and strange things exist in the basements of Prague Castle and the Hofburg in Vienna.  This was a period of history when there was a blossoming of new ideas. Science and magic were still similarly viewed as dangerous and practiced by academics, nobles and clergy.  Contemporaries include - Tycho Brahe, Dr. Dee, Elizabeth Tudor, Galileo Galilei, Henri V, Baron Francis Bacon, even Shakespeare and the teenaged Richelieu.

Playing an Archduke or Archduchess von Hapsburg - one of the children of Maximillian II including both Rudolf and Matthias is open to each player. There are other options including illegitimate children and also other interesting characters with a unique story.

Bear in mind that while the greater and lesser clergy and nobility may practice many of the "dark arts", it is something that is practiced discreetly unless one wants to be labelled as a Saint or Evildoer. Even in history, Rudolf's esoteric interests and practices provoked much suspicion.

Characters will start with 100 point characters and the traditional ADRPG rules. Pattern is not available to start with... yet.
Non-Hapsburg character concepts can be entertained. Sorcery, Conjuring, Power Words, Danger Sense, even Shape Changing is available.

Are you on the Global Frequency? What is the Global Frequency? Some call it an Urban Myth, some say it’s a Faerie Tale and some call it a world conspiracy. What it is, is a world-wide independent intelligence organization, a rapid emergency response team and a private defense force all rolled into one. They deal with the threats that the world’s governments don’t want you to know about and can't handle themselves. They know trouble's coming before anyone else does. There are 1001 operatives on the Global Frequency, Intelligence Operatives, former Special Ops soldiers, ex-Cops, Scientists, Athletes. If you are an expert in your field, whatever it may be, you could be called on by the Global Frequency. You could be called on to save the world. Wait, hear that, that special ring-tone, you’d better answer it, they're calling you. You are on the Global Frequency.

Global Frequency is a game set in our world and our time. It is a gritty and messed up world, like ours is and you are its protectors. You are the agents of the Global Frequency called upon to stop a catastrophe or clean up the mess after one. Secretly and without fanfare. You handle the situations that no one else can.

For over two thousand years, Lord Drake has taken up arms against what is unjust.
